Carnegie Hall-NYC Tour 2010
At Carnegie Hall, 86 students from Concert Choir and Choristers had a fabulous artistic experience singing with conductor Elena Sharkova and 275 young singers from seven other choirs as part of the National Children’s Festival Chorus. Concert Choir was one of two featured choirs in the Ensemble Debut Series and gave an exceptional performance. Note: Due to Carnegie Hall’s copyright rules no photos of the in-hall rehearsals or concert were permitted.
The students especially enjoyed the excitement of New York City’s many sites, including Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Central Park, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Lion King on Broadway was a huge hit. A post-concert boat ride and party on the Hudson River topped off the tour.
Australia Tour 2008
Concert Choir members shared their love of music in public concerts with marvelous Australian children’s choirs in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.
