The angel Gabriel from heaven came,
His wings as drifted snow, his eyes as flame:
‘All hail,’ said he ‘thou lovely maiden Mary,
Most highly favoured lady!’ Gloria!
‘For known a blessed Mother thou shalt be;
All generations laud and honour thee:
Thy son shall be Emmanuel, by seers foretold.
Most highly favoured lady!’ Gloria!
Then gentle Mary meekly bowed her head;
‘To me be as it pleaseth God!’ she said.
‘My soul shall laud and magnify his holy Name.’
‘Most highly favoured lady!’ Gloria!
Of her Emmanuel, the Christ, was born,
In Bethlehem, all on a Christmas morn;
And Christian folk throughout the world will ever say:
‘Most highly favoured lady!’ Gloria!
Children, go tell it on the mountain.
Children, go tell it ev’rywhere.
Children, go tell it on the mountain,
A baby is born in Bethlehem.
Children, go.
How my heart rejoices, music ev’rywhere.
Hear the angel voices ringing in the air.
Listen to the message. Hear the news today.
Lying in a manger, hope is lighting our way!
Children, go tell it on the mountain.
Children, go tell it ev’rywhere.
Children, go tell it on the mountain,
A baby is born in Bethlehem.
Children, go.
See the star that’s shining in the Eastern shy,
Leading to a manger on this glorious night.
Follow like the shepherds. Follow like the kings.
Bethlehem is waiting for our voices to sing!
Yes, our voices will sing!
Children, go tell it on the mountain.
Children, go tell it ev’rywhere.
Children, go tell it on the mountain,
A baby is born in Bethlehem.
Children, go!

Sing a new song
sing, shout all the earth
break forth, sing aloud, and play music
shout all the earth
sing all the earth
sing a new song
let the heavens rejoice
let the earth be glad
let the sea roar, and all that fills it
let the field exult, and all that is in it
let the trees of the forest sing for joy
let the rivers clap hands
let the mountains sing for joy
sing a new song
sing, shout all the earth
sing a new song
SING!
Have yourself a merry little Christmas.
Let your heart be light.
From now on our troubles will be out of sight.
Have yourself a merry little Christmas.
Make the Yuletide gay.
From now on our troubles will be miles away.
Here we are as in olden days,
Happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more.
Through the years we all will be together
If the fates allow.
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough, on the highest bough,
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now.
Here we are as in olden days,
Happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more, once more.
Through the years we all will be together
If the fates allow.
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough,
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now.
Merry Christmas!

Angels from Heaven say to the shepherds,
“News we bring, news we bring!
In Bethlehem, asleep in a manger,
Lies your king, lies your King!”
Burning, burning, candles of Hanukkah,
All through the night they glow.
Telling the world that a miracle happened so long ago.
Turning, turning, dreidels of Hannukah,
Symbols of hope and cheer.
Calling to mind that a miracle surely has happened here.
Spin the dreidels and light the lights,
Lift your voices in joy,
Join the dance as we celebrate,
Giving a toy to each little girl and boy.
Burning, burning, candles of Hanukkah,
Burn for eight days and nights.
As we remember the miracle,
The Festival of Lights.
Tonight on Christmas Eve I thought I’d play a trick.
I waited on the rooftop for jolly old Saint Nick.
He landed by the chimney and when he looked away,
I crept around without a sound and hid inside his sleigh!
Up on the housetop reindeer pause.
Out jumps good old Santa Claus;
Down through the chimney with lots of toys,
All for the little ones Christmas joys.
Ho, ho, ho, who wouldn’t go!
Ho, ho, ho, who wouldn’t go!
Up on the housetop, click, click, click.
Up and away with good Saint Nick!
Zooming through the sky in a reindeer powered sleigh,
O’er the clouds we fly, then I hear Santa say,
“On, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, and Vixen don’t be slow!
On, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen here we go!”
Up on the housetop reindeer pause.
Out jumps good old Santa Claus,
Down through the chimney with lots of toys,
All for the little ones Christmas joys.
Ho, ho, ho, who wouldn’t go!
Ho, ho, ho, who wouldn’t go!
Up on the housetop click, click, click.
Up and away with good Saint Nick!
Now I’m flying in a reindeer sleigh.
Now I’m flying in a reindeer sleigh with jolly Old Saint Nick!

Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bobtails ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight
Oh, Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh, hey
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh

The One who makes peace in the heavens,
may He make peace for us,
and for all Israel,
and let us say, let us say Amen.
If anybody asks you who I am,
Who I am, who I am,
If anybody asks you who I am,
Tell him I’m a child of God.
Hallelujah, glory hallelujah
O Lord.
We’re gonna rock, Mary, rock the cradle in glory.
Peace on earth! Peace on earth!
The little cradle rocks tonight in glory,
Tonight in glory, tonight in glory.
The little cradle rocks tonight in glory,
For the little child of God.
Hallelujah, glory hallelujah
O Lord.
We’re gonna rock, Mary, rock the cradle in glory.
Peace on earth! Peace on earth!
When I get to heaven gonna watch and tell
Three bright angels go and ring them bells;
One for to sing and the others to pray
And shout hallelujah for the judgement day!
We’re gonna rock, Mary, rock the cradle in glory.
Peace on earth! Peace on earth!
Good will to men!

Going through the hills on a night all starry
On the way to Bethlehem,
Far away I heard a shepherd boy piping
On the way to Bethlehem.
Angels in the sky brought this message nigh:
‘Dance and sing for joy that Christ the newborn King is
Come to bring us peace on earth, and he’s lying
Cradled there at Bethlehem.’
‘Tell me, shepherd boy piping tunes so merrily
On the way to Bethlehem,
Who will hear your tunes on these hills so lonely
On the way to Bethlehem?’
Angels in the sky brought this message nigh:
‘Dance and sing for joy that Christ the newborn King is
Come to bring us peace on earth, and he’s lying
Cradled there at Bethlehem.’
‘None may hear my pipes on these hills so lonely
On the way to Bethlehem,
But a King will hear me play sweet lullabies,
When I get to Bethlehem.’
Angels in the sky came down from high,
Hovered o’er the manger where the babe way lying
Cradled in the arms of this mother Mary,
Sleeping now at Bethlehem.
‘Where is this new King, shepherd boy piping merrily,
Is he there at Bethlehem?’
‘I will find him soon by the star shining brightly
In the sky o’er Bethlehem.’
Angels in the sky brought this message nigh:
‘Dance and sing for joy that Christ the newborn King is
Come to bring us peace on earth, and he’s lying
Cradled there at Bethlehem.’
‘May I come with you, shepherd boy piping merrily,
Come with you to Bethlehem?
Pay my homage too at the new King’s cradle,
Is it far to Bethlehem?’
Angels in the sky brought this message nigh:
‘Dance and sing for joy that Christ the infant King is
Born this night in lowly stable yonder,
Born for you at Bethlehem.’
One, two, three, four, five,
Six, seven, eight nights celebrate our light.
Li, li, li, li, light.
Candles burning bright,
golden and blue shining through darkest night.
Ni, ni, ni, ni, night.
Let the light shine (let the light shine)
In the window (in the window)
When you think it’s almost gone,
there is still hope.
Li, li, li, li, light.
When we light the flame
And watch it rise, we’re reminded again.
Let the light shine (let the light shine)
In the window (in the window)
When you think it’s almost gone,
there is still hope.
Li, li, li, li, li, li, light.
Li, li, li, li, light.
Let the light shine (let the light shine)

When you think it’s almost gone,
there is still hope.

Give us peace.
One candle, one light, burning clear throughout the night.
One candle, one symbol of peace.
One candle, plus one, now a glimmer has begun.
Two candles, two symbols of peace.
Dona nobis, nobis pacem, in the glow of candlelight I see;
Dona nobis, nobis pacem, peace for you and me.
Three candles, then four, shining stronger than before.
Five candles, six candles burn bright.
More candles join in, see a spark of hope begin.
Each candle increasing the light.
Dona nobis, nobis pacem, in the glow of candlelight I see;
Dona nobis, nobis pacem, peace for you and me.
Your candlelight with mine will radiate and shine,
Growing stronger, for all the world to see you and me.
Dona nobis, nobis pacem, in the glow of candlelight I see;
Dona nobis, nobis pacem, peace for you and me.
Peace for you and me.
Peace.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Born in the King, Noel.
The first Noel, the angels did say,
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields where they lay,
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep,
On a cold winter’s night that was so deep.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel!
Born is the King of Israel.
They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the east, beyond them far.
And to the earth it gave great light,
And so it continued both day and night.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel!
Born is the King of Israel.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel!
Then let us all with one accord
Sing praises to our heav’nly Lord,
That hath made heav’n and earth of naught,
And with His blood mankind hath bought
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel!
Born is the King, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King, Noel!
Noel, Noel, Noel, Born in the King,
Noel, Noel.
