Ben Nordstrom is the Executive Director of The St. Louis Children’s Choirs, where he provides strategic and operational leadership for one of the region’s premier youth music organizations. He works in close partnership with Artistic Director Dr. Alyson Moore, the Choirs’ Board of Directors, Choir families, donors, and community partners to advance the Choirs’ mission of delivering exceptional choral training and transformative musical experiences for young people throughout the St. Louis community.
Before transitioning into nonprofit leadership, Ben enjoyed an award-winning career as a professional actor and singer in St. Louis and New York, performing leading roles on prominent stages across the county and earning critical recognition for his vocal and theatrical work. His years as a professional performer shaped his deep belief in the power of music to build confidence, discipline, empathy, and connection — values that continue to guide his leadership today.
Ben brings extensive experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and arts administration, with a focus on sustainable growth, community engagement, and artistic excellence. Under his leadership, The St. Louis Children’s Choirs continue to strengthen their reputation for high-caliber performances, meaningful collaborations, and innovative music education.
